What is Mold?

Mold, refers to a type of fungus that grows in multicellular structures called mycelium, which can spread and form visible colonies. Mold thrives in moist, humid environments and can grow on various organic materials, including wood, paper, food, and fabric. It reproduces by releasing spores into the air, which can easily spread and cause new mold growth if they land in suitable environments.
